EDWARD W. MULCAHY, CPA

Edward W. Mulcahy is President and shareholder of Mulcahy, Pauritsch, Salvador & Co., Ltd. (MPS) and started the firm in 1973.

Ed’s responsibilities relate to practice development and client advisory services. He provides consulting services in areas relating to strategic planning, ownership succession issues, and other matters that typically impact owners of closely held businesses.

Ed is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society. He has served as president of both the Orland Park Area Chamber of Commerce and the Orland Park Rotary Club. He has also served as a board member and treasurer of the regional Chicago Southland Chamber of Commerce. He served as a board member of Palos Community Hospital for fourteen years and currently continues to serve the hospital as a member of the St. George Corporation governing board.

Ed graduated from St. Joseph's College, Rensselaer, Indiana with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He also received his Masters degree in Business Administration from Loyola University, Chicago, Illinois.

In addition to practicing accounting, Ed taught courses at Moraine Valley Community College, where he also spent fourteen years as Chairman of the College’s Department of Business.
