EDWARD T. MC CORMICK, CPA

Edward T. Mc Cormick is a shareholder of Mulcahy, Pauritsch, Salvador & Co., Ltd. (MPS). He has been with the firm since 1982.

Ed is responsible for accounting and audit engagements for commercial, not-for-profit and governmental entities. He is also responsible for compliance with generally accepted auditing standards for all clients. Ed provides accounting, tax, and consulting services to closely held businesses in various industries as well as to their owners.

Ed graduated from Illinois State University, Normal, Illinois in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

Ed is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society. He is also a member of The Government Finance Officers’ Association and the Association of School Business Officials International. He currently serves as a panel reviewer for the Association of School Business Officials International Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting. Ed has been a presenter at the Northern Illinois Association of Fire Protection Districts and the Illinois Association of Fire Protection Districts.

Ed has also taught accounting and auditing classes at several area colleges.
