Governments

Mulcahy, Pauritsch, Salvador & Co., Ltd. has been active in servicing local governmental entities since its inception. We currently service a significant number of municipalities, school districts, park districts, fire districts as well as other special districts.

During this time we have developed a wealth of knowledge and experience in assisting our governmental clients with the increasingly difficult challenges they face. Our approach to servicing our clients is to be a resource throughout the entire year. We anticipate as well as address issues as they arise, in addition to providing the audit and compliance requirements at year-end.

Our governmental group continues to keep current with the ever increasing demands of the federal and state governments as well as the ever changing reporting requirements that are placed on local government such as single audits, TIF reporting and Government Accounting Standards Board pronouncements. We participate in the Government Finance Officers Association of America (GFOA), Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO) as well as the Government Report Review Committee of the Illinois CPA Society. Members of the group have given speeches before various state and local governmental groups as well as serve as panel reviewers for the excellence in reporting programs.
